Being on the staff team is a fun and rewarding experience. It's a great opportunity to help your favorite server and contribute to its wonderful community. However, staff positions are a big responsibility that require lots of time and dedication.
Requirements
The members of the staff team represent Quantum Network. As such, it is essential that you meet a few basic criteria.
To be considered, you must:
Be at least 16 years of age (slight exceptions may be granted).
Be mature, patient and fair.
Be fluent in English.
Be active in-game, on the forums, and in our Discord server.
Actively play on Quantum Network for at least 2 weeks prior to applying.
Meet the word requirements and follow our application guidelines.
Have a Discord account and check it regularly - this is our primary form of communication.
Applicants who fail to meet the requirements above will not be considered.
Assets
There are also several assets we are looking for in potential candidates. Meeting these will strongly improve your chances of being selected. Applicants should:
Be familiar with the server rules.
Have minimal warnings, punishments, or an otherwise negative reputation.
Write honest, detailed answers with strong spelling and grammar.
Move around the server and have a basic understanding of multiple game modes instead of just one.
Avoid discussing, promoting or vouching for your application to others.
As of recently, we have received a lot of applications that were either fully or partially written by AI. These are easily detectable and will result in both your application being rejected and you being given a penalty from trying again. It is expected that applicants demonstrate good integrity - we are only interested in getting to know you as the applicant and not the work of a secondary source.
AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION
Once you’ve submitted your application please wait patiently to receive a response. Responses may take anywhere from 4 days to 1 months, depending on our need for members at the time. Waiting longer to receive a response is generally a good sign because it means you’re being considered and haven’t yet been denied!
If we think you may be a suitable fit you will be contacted via Discord for a brief interview. These are conducted directly by the departments manager, please be wary of anyone else asking for your information. It is important that you keep an eye on Discord in case we try to reach you.
DENIED APPLICATIONS
Applications may be denied due to a variety of different factors. You may not meet our requirements, or simply be in a timezone that we’re not currently looking for. If your application is denied you will receive a short message with a few suggestions on what you can work on to improve. You may re-apply at any time unless you are specifically given a cooldown in our message.
